We would love to see you there and can answer any questions you have about our training and how we can help you realise your dream of being a counsellor or psychotherapist.

Why should you come to our open night?
Want to make a difference helping others with their mental health?
This kind of career can be…
✅ Tremendously Rewarding
✅ Challenging and Engaging
✅ Supportive whilst Being Supported, and
✅ a Career That Changes Lives
…and especially important now…
We run regular FREE Open Nights to;
🔹 Help explore possibilities for a career in MH
🔹 introduce some of our training team,
🔹 talk through our training course, style and structure
🔹 discuss requirements, fees and opportunities
We’re a long established training centre based on Holderness Road in Hull with a second therapy and resource centre on Beverley Road. We also run the 3-year counselling training in Newcastle in partnership with our friends at Peel Psychological Consultancy
We offer UKCP accredited training and we’re continuing to work effectively despite the pandemic. We have two intakes for our Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy training (3 or 4 year) part time, training course for starting either in September (weekends) or in February (weekdays).
This Open Night is to help you find out more. You’ll be able to ask questions, get relevant information and a feel for who we are and what it would be like to train with us.
You can also hear from some of our trainees to find out what they thought of it…
👨🏼‍💼 Working as a TA Psychotherapist is tremendously rewarding. I feel challenged, supported and the benefits of engaging with the Ellesmere Centre reached far wider than just my job.
👩🏻‍💼 Having completed the training I have made huge changes in my work and I love my career. Possibly more importantly though, on a personal level I feel more content in my world than I ever have.
👨🏻‍💼 Excellent standard of teaching and training
If you’re keen to make a difference and develop your career in mental health through recognised, effective and supportive training then please come along and find out more.
Please ignore the incorrect date of 20th July in the ticket selector. The event is on the 30th August 2023 as stated above this.
