The Ellesmere Centre Team is monitoring the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and tracking the advice provided by the World Health Organisation (WHO) , Public Health England (PHE) and the Department for Education. We are doing all we can to minimise disruption to our training whilst ensuring that we implement measures to ensure public safety.
Where possible we have replaced face to face training sessions with online/remote sessions using the Zoom platform. These appear to be working well but we welcome any feedback from trainees who need additional support in adapting to this format?
We will be providing training on ‘Working online’ to ensure that practicing counsellors, therapists and supervisors feel adequately prepared to meet the current challenges of providing remote sessions. Details of this training will be announced once we have confirmed dates.
The following guidance is available to UKCP members on Psychotherapeutic practice and working in isolation.
A list of resources for people who may be struggling to cope with the current situation can be found here.
We will update with any developments or changes to the delivery of training via this page and through email communication.
