This document describes how the Ellesmere Centre for Psychotherapy and Training (ECPT), the data controller, collects, uses and protects your information.

- HOW ECPT USE YOUR INFORMATION
ECPT Training and Workshops
To register for training you will need to download an application form from the ECPT website or via direct request to the centre and enter the details appropriate to your application. The application form is a word document.
Your training details are entered into the ECPT system which is maintained in a secure server located within the UK and secured with a HTTPS connection. Training applications will be printed and stored in a paper record and stored in a locked cabinet in a locked office.
If application forms are posted to the ECPT office, please send the forms by recorded delivery. The information on the form will be entered into the ECPT system.
ECPT stores application forms in trainee records including the payment method and payment details used. Payments made using Paypal create a payment record that is sent to ECPT, the payment method is stored with Paypal, www.paypal.co.uk.
ECPT also stores trainee information on a password protected computer in a locked office, the computer is secured with anti-virus software.
ECPT operates an email mailing list which is used to notify subscribers of upcoming training and workshops. All email addresses are held securely in a password protected platform and never passed to a third party.
All subscribers to the ECPT email list have the opportunity to opt out at any time. If you wish to opt out from the email mailing list please contact ECPT at firstname.lastname@example.org.
ECPT process your information for the following legitimate business interests:
- To provide you with information regarding your training
- To provide you with information you have requested
- To notify you of upcoming training opportunities
- WHO ECPT SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH
At ECPT we do not share your information with any external third parties. It is used for the sole purpose of undertaking administration relating to training and workshops and marketing communications of upcoming training opportunities.
- STORING YOUR INFORMATION
Trainee information is stored on a password protected computer and on a securely encrypted database stored on a server which is located within the United Kingdom and adheres to GDPR legislation.
All paper records are stored in a locked cabinet in a securely locked office.
The ECPT mailing list is provided by Mailchimp which is located in the USA and adheres to standards equivalent to that required by GDPR Legislation.
Your trainee information will be stored for a period of 7 years, in the eighth year, or the eighth after cessation of your training, all your membership records stored by ECPT will be destroyed.
- HOW YOU CAN ACCESS YOUR INFORMATION
You can email email@example.com requesting a document containing all your information stored by EPCT in a machine readable format.
- YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to:
- Request details of all your personal information stored on the ECPT server in a machine readable format
- Request changes to incorrect or incomplete data
- Object to the processing of your personal information
- Restrict the processing of your personal information
- Withdraw consent for ECPT to store your personal information
- Request deletion of all your personal information stored by UKATA
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioners Office
